*Sticky: Added a Submit Posts Interface

Ok guys I’ve added a page where you can submit your own comics to the site. The links to the submit page are at the top of the menu columns. You don’t have to register and can remain anonymous if you want. You are also able to preview your post before you submit.
Feel free to tell me what you see wrong with it or inconvenient, or why you wouldn’t use it. I can possibly make improvements.

Shit! Computer crashed

I was looking at an image on one of those free image hosting sites and it launched a virus on my PC! Arrrrrrrh!

Prettymuch fucked up my registry. My antivirus software happened to expire just a few days before. My computer was about 5 years old so I went on and got a new one and I’m typing on it now. I still have to salvage what I can from the old hard drives and get all my old programs back again, then I should be able to get back to some updates.

Where are the Updates?

I’m still here. I check the site prettymuch everyday to make sure it’s running, I have to because it crashes so much. If the site is crashed for 3 or 4 days that means I am seriously not around.

Whats happened recently is I’ve lost one of my sources. I have others, but I’m still trying to figure out what happened to my other one right now. Also I’m sick, also I have work, also I have studies, etc etc etc. I have to explain this a few times a year since I get the same questions pretty often as you can imagine.

I’ll update the site soon though.

Hentai section added to forums

Didn’t know alphahentai had forums?

The link to the forums is to the right. The forums are still kinda new. I’ve just now added a hentai section.

I notice alot of times people post links to completed cg series or comics in the posts I create, but there is a auto spam filter that removes any comments with links.

If you wish to post outside links to other comics or whatever just create a thread for it in the forums.

The server got BLASTED

A couple of days ago a popular hentai BBS in China hotlinked the images from one of the comics here. So I guess you guys can imagine, they completely obliterated the load on my poor server. It took me a while to figure out what the source of the problem was. I had a hotlink script running that I took down for some reason and forgot to put back up.. MISTAKE. Ok, so whenever the site is down or extremely slow, that’s probably whats goin on, Someone is hotlinking images and fucking things up for Everyone! j/k a little ^_^

Everything should be up and running now.

Contact Info Updated

I just realized that my contact form email script was not working. It probably hasn’t been working for a while. I updated the contact page on the lower right hand corner of the site. Also updated the “Link Trade” page because the contact info wasn’t working there either.

New Ratings

I’ve added a new ratings system for the posts that I think is pretty cool. To rate posts you just put your curser over the stars and they will light up. Then you click when you’ve selected the number of stars you want to give the post. You can test it out on this post if you want.

Also, I might add more or less of certain kinds of hentai comic or hentai video content depending on how you guys vote for it. The same thing can be said for any of the other mainstream videos and stuff that I add. So the votes definitely count. And the more votes for all the content throughout the site the better. I’d like to make a page of the top 50 highest rated posts or somethin like that.

Halo 3 sells 45,000 in Japan

On its first day of release in Japan, Halo 3 sold 45,000. For perspective, Blue Dragon (which is the highest-sold Xbox 360 title) sold 83,000 in it’s first week. Halo 3 cut into that by more than half in a day.
It seems the japanese seem to hate First Person Shooters.. and the XBOX.

Instead of a BBS

First off, more hentai updates are on the way for this site, so that should be good for a couple of weeks.

But anyhow. I decided to go with somethin I thought was more interesting than a bbs. It’s still in beta, but the site is prettymuch like digg.

It allows you(the web surfer) to submit web links to news articles, videos, or whatever you think is interesting on the web. Once you submit the articles to the site all the visitors get to vote for the best ones. And the best links get moved to the top of the front page. Discussions are allowed, like on a blog, but you’re also able to vote on the best and worst comments. The comments with the lowest votes will be “hidden” from view.

But like I said, it’s in beta. No hentai or adult links will be allowed. And I’m working on a different colored layout also.

Would like some feedback

Ok so this site has been around for a little while now. I’m thinking about making it into a membership site. THE SITE WOULD REMAIN FREE, but you would need to register, similar to a forum. The reason why I’m doing this is because I would like the site to be a bit more private. I’m adding quite a bit of adult content and I don’t like the fact that anybody can easily have access to it. Even though there’s no sure fire way I can make sure everyone who accesses the site is an adult, this can be a bit of a start.

Let me know what you guys think. You can also reply to each others comments now, instead of having to post at the bottom of the thread when you want to respond to someone.

FINALLY - Naruto Shippuuden is Out!

I didn’t think the fillers were ever gonna end! My gosh. What was it? like a year and a half?

Finally I was able to watch the first Hurricane Chronicles Ep of the new season a few days ago, after I and prettymuch everyone else gave up on it. Call me a fanboy or whateva, I don’t care. The opening teaser was bad-ass. Now I have something else to watch while the new Death Note arch builds up. I’m almost scared now that I’ve posted this because I don’t want manga readers to start postin spoilers. So if anybody does post a spoiler I won’t update the site until the summer ^_^ (This is just a rave post, I’m not posting any episodes here)

Ok here we go again. I’m gonna give this blog format another try. The last time I had some server issues and the site ran too slow. I’ve now resolved some of those issues so lets see what happens. If I can make this format work, it’ll be much easier to categorize the content. Plus you guys can keep me on track as far as incorrect dojin titles, categories, etc

Alphahentai blog 1.0 is finally online

So instead of going with the forum or getting a new shoutbox script, I’ve decided to go with the blog format. I started this blog project last fall. I had been working on it off and on because I had to learn from scratch about blog sites and how to make a custom template. I took the last couple of weeks to just finish it and get it online. I’m thinking that the site might run a bit slow during high traffic periods. This is prettymuch the blogs test run.
